I’ve made a small tweak to the script that generates the content for the “Description” field in the blog.
The reason ??? Someone (can’t remember their name 😂) asked me for help to make their HCL Domino blog look a bit more presentable. I couldn’t believe it, there are still people using this stuff! Well, I’ve seen a few blogs using this template, but they’re definitely a dying breed (I think).
Why did I bother tweaking the script ??? A couple of years ago, someone (again, no idea what their name was 😂, I just remember they were German) asked me for this blog setup. They published it, but every time I looked at it, it made me cringe.
Why ??? Because it looked awful. Even though I told them that the images needed to be a specific size, they uploaded pictures of all shapes and sizes. The result was a mess. Maybe it’s just me being picky, but I do care about these things.
Anyway, that issue is now sorted (the fix is simple). I think this new example will look pretty decent. Once I finish it, I’ll strip out anything that identifies the person who asked for it and share it, just in case someone else finds it useful.
I won’t make it a free public download (I’d rather not end up in an Indian jail 🇮🇳). If anyone wants it, just leave a comment on my blog (I won’t publish it). I’ll send the NSF file to the email address they provide.
