Playing with the Blog Template (and Letting ChatGPT Do the Heavy Lifting)

The header image you see on the ESLUG was originally created by my niece. I recently passed it to ChatGPT and asked for a couple of changes, swap the guy for a girl, and replace the little white dot in the center of the laptop with the HCL Domino logo.
Now, let’s be honest, my niece would have nailed it 😜, but ChatGPT didn’t do a bad job at all. I’m now planning to throw a few more tasks its way, all related to the blog template, things I’ve never really understood and probably never will. For those of you who don’t know, I retired from IBM with a screwdriver in my hand. I was always a hardware technician. The first task I’ve got in mind is something I could probably do myself, but I’ll admit it, I’ve been a bit lazy lately. What I want is a button that generates the proper code for the “Additional HTML/text” field, so I can post blog entries to BlueSky. Obviously, I’ll need to tell it where to fetch the content from. But honestly, I’m pretty sure ChatGPT will get it done better, and a lot faster, than I ever could 😂 Por aquí sigo trabajando ....
